Bharatanatyam is a traditional classical dance form originated from southern part of India. It has a technique and a known syllabus to be followed, it has different postures like araimandi(knees bent outwards), muzhumandi, stanaka etc with hand, eye gestures. Bharatanatyam has nritta- pure dance and abhinayam(expressions).
